When is pierce the veil making a new album

VF: Honestly, it was kind of a mess and very intense. We moved up to Los Angeles to record and we were only supposed to be there for two months, but the record ended up taking four months to finish. It was definitely crazy and hectic. We even ran out of studio time, so I had to stay up in L. I did a lot of writing during the day in another studio.

Even though times were crazy, you just have to remember that the harder you work, the better something comes out. What do you believe contributed to its success?

VF: Initially, a lot of anticipation was built up for the record. We toured so much for the first record that we gained loyal and completely awesome fans. Through Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, and other sites like those, we were able to stay in touch with fans and get everyone excited about Selfish Machines. When it finally came out, it was a big relief. It was likefinally! SM: Your album has a unique array of songs.

We hear it was the first song you wrote on the piano. What pushed you to write a song on the piano? Can your fans expect more songs similar to this in the future? VF: It was interesting how it all came about. I was just hanging out at my house in San Diego, and one day my roommate got a piano.

We put it in our living room and I just started playing it a lot more. We also collaborated with Dave Hayes. Hopefully we will have Dave Hayes on every album; Dave Hayes is an amazing musician and is fantastic in taking songs to a new level. We are lucky to have been able to collaborate with him on this album. VF: We chose that song, I really don't know why. I guess we felt it best represented us as a band, for it's a little bit of everything.

The song is catchy and it just felt right. We're excited about it. This song, actually, was a collaboration with a friend, Jeremy McKinnon. We felt that "Caraphernelia" was a strong opener song and that it was going to grab people right away. SM: And you are finishing up the music video for "Caraphernelia" soon VF: I actually just got the final cut today.

I had such a great time, except that, people kept pushing back and forth, and I couldn't meet the actual members! But that's okay, I guess! I'm lucky enough To see them live! I totally recommend people to see Pierce the veil love, especially if you love rock music, like me. Maybe even next time they're on tour, I'll see them again! And maybe even meet them! You don't even know!.. And Mikey Fuentes drummer, Vic's bother played the drums incredible!!!

I was so amazed!! They're such a great band!! Thanks to my sister in America I got to know about this band and then later on I found out that they were coming to Denmark! I am beyond happy! They are so nice and down to earth and they even dedicated a song to us who were there! They played all of my favorite songs. This was an awesome concert!!! I saw pierce the veil preform in Stockholm, Sweden,the 15 november I had already seen them one year ago, when they toured with sleeping with sirens, so I had high expectations and knew that it would be an experience remembered for life. Me and my friend got really close to the stage somehow without pushing or anything.

Pierce the veil, in my opinion have probably one of the best audience in the world. Everyone are really friendly and share the same passion for music. It took a while before they acually came out on stage. However, Vic sang both new and old songs, told some jokes on the way and even brought one from the audience up on stage! I think that Vic and his band are truely talanted when it comes to writting songs. I admire this band more than ever. With that being said, the concert was a blast, I'm sad that not all the tickets were sold out and if you are planning not to go then I think that you're missing out on an incredible experience.

Hope to see this band again. I confidently consider myself a gigging enthusiast, having been to dozens of shows and venues, seeing many of my favourite bands and leaving with a profound feeling of happiness that I'd just had a great experience.

Their show was completely unique, fantastically vibrant, and filled with so much passion from the band, pouring every ounce of creativity into the stage design and setlist. If you missed this show, I'm afraid to say you missed a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a collective of diehard fans and a band who in return have put everything up fore their fans to create the greatest gig and night ever. I don't say this lightly.

I'm not their biggest fan, and don't even know half the lyrics to their songs, but the entire shows execution was a cut above the bands I know inside out and consider to be my absolute favourites. Don't miss these guys if you have the chance. Nick Martin from SWS is fucking amazing! He's really cool, he kept coming over to the corner where me and a smaller crowd was standing and playing around.
