They soon started having a long-distance relationship after that.

When Star-Lord got into trouble, Kitty went into space to save him. This led to Quill asking Kitty to marry him. She said yes and ended up joining the Guardians of the Galaxy. Kitty Pryde had a crush on Colossus as soon as she met him.
